Dungeons & Distractions (SMU Arts fest 2024)

Role: Set designer, multi-media designer & multi-media show operator (Independent work)

Dungeons and Distractions is an epic fantasy, interact with the story line as the audience in real time. Experience a vividly visceral fantasy game where the characters you play, will in turn be played: By performers enacting your decisions and responding to your dice rolls, including executing fight moves for those pesky battles that are part of every quest. Taking the tabletop roleplaying game off the tabletop, this improv experience offers theatregoers an intensely interactive tale, those curious about Dungeons & Dragons a vivid visual introduction, and long-time players a new and completely nonsensical way to play.
