Jo Ho (b. 1991, Singapore) is an artist investigating the changing perceptions, imaginations and values of real and digital bodies about the realities of our rapidly advancing computational tools. She often works with emerging technology to explore what she calls ‘digital corporeality’, a concept that describes the increasingly intertwining state of existence between software and hardware, and digital and the corporeal.
Jo works with interactive installations, moving images, projection mapping, digital paintings using data and machine-learned graphics as material, and virtual experiences created with game engines. Recently, she has been incorporating performance in her practice to further extend emerging digital tools into live- and body-based work.
